WE’RE HERE TO HELP

For Group Leaders, one of the hardest parts of organizing a tour is knowing that not every student who wants to go will feel like they can. For many families, educational travel is a dream—but not always an obvious possibility. Between extracurriculars and everyday expenses, adding additional costs to the budget can feel out of reach.

That’s exactly why we’ve built fundraising and financial support into the heart of the EF experience. Because we believe no student should be left behind.

Tools to help fundraise for your tour

Tools to help fundraise for your tour

TOOL #1

Personal fundraising page

What it is:
Every traveller gets a personalized online fundraising page the moment they enrol. Students can share it with family, friends, and their community to collect contributions toward their tour.

How it works:
Students can share one simple link via email or social media. Supporters can contribute directly—no cash, no checks, no hassle. Students can track their progress in real-time.

TOOL #2

FundScrip—earn while you spend

What it is:
FundScrip is the perfect fundraising program to raise funds for your tour. Each gift card friends and family purchase through FundScrip raises funds for their trip.

How it works:
The FundScript gift card fundraising platform helps students raise money through everyday spending. Purchase gift cards for popular retailers, restaurants, and services you already visit, and a percentage of each purchase is returned in the form of a fundraising contribution.

The earlier, the better. Starting 8–12 months before your tour gives you time to build momentum and reach your goal without stress.

Absolutely. Many groups organize joint events (car washes, bake sales, raffles) and split proceeds among travellers. Your Program Consultant can help you plan.

FundScrip is 100% online. Supporters can purchase e-gift cards from anywhere in Canada and designate your tour as the beneficiary.

Scholarship availability varies by year and program. We encourage families to apply early and speak with their Program Consultant about eligibility.
